Singing Sun Records supports causes directly creating goodness in the world. We do this by donating a portion of the proceeds (at least $1.00) from each CD you purchase to a charitable cause. Learn more about the charitable organizations we support by reviewing the information listed below.
All of our albums are benefit albums and contribute to charities. We are not a non-profit, but our sales help good causes. Each album sale helps promote a great local artist, and gives to a worthy charitable cause. As you explore our website, take a look at the Our Friends page to read about the charities we support. In our quest for helping Mother Earth, we are moving toward environmentally-friendly solutions for our CD packaging. This means that the CD you purchase may be totally produced in-house, using up minimal resources! In the future, some of the albums we offer will offer a choice of paper or plastic. If you choose paper, your CD will come packaged with a cardboard cover. If you choose plastic, your CD will come packaged in the standard plastic jewel case. The cardboard covers will not have a spine; the plastic jewel cases do. The CDs we already have in-stock will be re-packaged after the stock is sold. Our Latin Sunrise album is going to be manufactured using recycled jewel cases. If you have any jewel cases to recycle, check out www.greendisk.com or www.actrecycling.org.
We offer music to soothe your soul. Uplifting chants for meditation and to rid the mind of random thought. Smooth Latin rhythms, soulful songs, light rock, piano improvisations and choral music bringing beautiful sound to your ears. For your playful side we offer children's songs, soon to come upbeat dance music, teaching and comedy.

Singing Sun Records was founded by Paula Gilbert, Rick Gilbert and Patricia Gear for the purpose of creating this internet store to for Paula to sell her CDs, Digital Song Downloads, and Gifts. All the items in the store are created or co-created by Paula with either her partners, Rick and Pat or others listed in the artists section of this website.
Both Rick and Pat are artistic and business advisors in the company, as well as offering encouragement to Paula to continue creating art and getting it out to the world.
