Food Not Bombs is one of the fastest growing revolutionary movements active today and is gaining momentum. There are hundreds of autonomous chapters sharing free vegetarian food with hungry people and protesting war and poverty throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia. Food Not Bombs is organizing for peace. We also support actions against the globalization of the economy, restrictions to the movements of people and the destruction of the earth.
Food Not Bombs is an all volunteer organization dedicated to nonviolence. Food Not Bombs has no formal leaders and strives to include everyone in its decision making process. Each group recovers food that would otherwise be thrown out and makes fresh hot vegetarian meals that are served in city parks to anyone without restriction. The groups also serve free vegetarian meals at protests and other events.
The San Francisco Chapter has been arrested over 1,000 times in an effort to silence its protest against the Mayor's anti-homeless policies. Amnesty International states it may adopt those Food Not Bombs volunteers that are imprisoned as "Prisoners of Conscience" and will work for their unconditional release.

The Twin Towers Orphan Fund, founded on September 13, 2001, is a charitable trust fund designed to benefit those children who lost parents on September 11, 2001, in the explosions and collapses of the several buildings in the World Trade Center, at the Pentagon and among the passengers and crews aboard the four hijacked airliners.
The mission of the Twin Towers Orphan Fund is to help mitigate the damage caused by the terrorist acts by ensuring the children of the victims have as normal a life as possible. To do so, the TTOF provides long-term higher educational assistance and helps meet mental and physical health care needs for the orphaned children.

RAWA has been in forefront of Afghan women's fight for freedom, democracy and women's rights since it's inception in 1977 in Kabul, Afghanistan. RAWA is active in the fields of education, healthcare, income generating projects and human rights for Afghan women and children in refugee camps in Pakistan and inside Afghanistan. It runs schools, literacy courses, computer courses, orphanages, hospitals, mobile medical teams etc. and documenting human rights violations by the terrorist fundamentalists of any brand.
